COASTAL COTTAGE

Our client contacted us after using this property for over a decade as a summer cabin with their family. Working within the constraints of the properties shoreline sensitivities and the existing cabins footprint we collaboratively developed a home that will foster family memories for years to come. Modernized conveniences like the large folding glass wall were paired with a timeless vernacular. Through forward thinking we accommodated a flex room on the main floor that can double as a future master bedroom, extending the use of the home. The master and guest bedrooms upstairs both have commanding views and a larger feel due to the use of dormers. The design of the Kitchen was based on a paint chip provided by our client. The cabinetry, countertops, tile, and paint colors all blended smartly with the direction we were given. The vibrant and active waterway beyond provides a compelling backdrop for the house, drawing visitors into the home and providing stunning views throughout.
